On March 17, the European Commission and Director General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture Themis Christophidou invited us to speak at during the welcome week for this season's EU Bluebook Trainees. The event took place on the floor of the European Parliament in Brussels and was attended by some 1,200 trainees from all EU institutions. After remarks by Themis, Vincent gave a motivational speech on the story of FreeInterrail / DiscoverEU, the power of an idea, and the importance of (male) allyship in Europe. Afterwards we shared a prolonged and lively discussion on change-making and youth empowerment with the trainees.
