On January 24th we left for the second installement of our #HowAreYouEurope research trip. After having covered Northeastern, Western, and SouthWestern Europe last year, this trip was focused on the (mostly) Mediterranean countries Italy, Malta, Cyprus, Greece, Slovenia, Croatia, and Austria.
On this trip, we had 26 appointments, talked with more than 50 stake-holders, activists, politicians, journalists, and other changemakers, and held events with a total of about 250 attendees. We also visited five regional/national offices of EU institutions.
We are very grateful for this opportunity to get to understand and learn more about youth perspectives on the EU, on youth exchange programs, and on DiscoverEU/FreeInterrail in particular. We also met and connected with feminists and folks engaged with gender equality in these countries. What a rewarding experience!
