We are happy to announce that we just published the 2020 FreeInterrail policy paper. The document outlines ideas and proposals as to how the existing EU scheme DiscoverEU may become even more inclusive, digital, accessible, and safe. Main source of inspiration for us were our Europe trips in 2019 and early 2020, during which we learned from Europeans of different backgrounds first hand. We owe a big debt of gratitude to many individuals and organization that helped bring this work together and publish this paper. Some of them are: the European Commission (and particularly the fantastic DiscoverEU team), Mercator Foundation, Schwarzkopf Foundation, Silvan Wagenknecht for his smooth design, Amy Herr for copy editing, Robert Peter for content supper, as well as those people quoted in the text itself. The full policy paper can be found here.
