For the second year in a row, we got to be part of a youth exchange program by the Deutsch-Amerikanisches Institut Tübingen and their staple project "Ambassadors in Sneakers." In Berlin, we met up with this diverse group feature youth representatives from both countries. First, we talked about activism, youth engagement, and the importance for young people to effect societal change. The discussion then moved to a heartfelt debate on feminism, men's role in the quest for gender equality, masculinities, and the need to redefine traditional gender roles. What a great group, indeed. With folks like that, our future is not lost yet!
